Summary
Regarding the specialization in business management the main course is finalized with a single exam, but this is a large one! It's
divided into six sub areas. They cover these aspects:
- Investments and finance (InFi)
- Methodologies in planning and decision (PaD)
- Theory in production and costs planning (ProCo)
- Marketing
- Management (Mgmt)
- Taxes
Testing requirements
Before you may register for the final exam (which is a hard four hours testing marathon) you need to
successfully pass (>50%) at least three different training lessons out of the six sub areas of specialization.
This may take some semesters because the classes are offered in a rotating manner. Neither the training
lessons nor the exam is extremely difficult, but it's the massive amount of content you need to
learn that introduces complexity. Over the course of time you will be faced with more than three large folders
of scripts, not to forget the assessment materials.

When you attend the assessment, you may choose which catalog to examine: In advance the major six blocks got mixed into two parts
with each consisting of three blocks. So both compilations together cover all aspects on business management studies. This allows
you bypassing one sub area in your preparations, if you like: Even when learning 5-out-of-6 there's always a compilation left
that contains your favorites. |

A long time all students said it would never happen to combine marketing with management courses into a single exam (both of
them tend to grow in large paper style dimensions and this doesn't fit in a limited assessment timeframe). But this happened in
September 2002 first, which showed you may expect the unexpected...

- Educational leave in a training center offered by Studienzentrum Bremen:
The courseware scripts are sometimes hard to understand. So it makes sense to retire from work for a certain time to fully concentrate
on exam preparations. Although it's quite expensive I really suggest spending money and time on training within an isolated group leaded
by a skilled instructor. For example I recommend Elke Bartschat and Axel Kleinschmidt.
