Erkrath

About the city

Erkrath is a small independent town located in the east suburbia of Duesseldorf that consists of the three districts named

• Alt-Erkath (also called city)
• Hochdahl
• Unterfeldhaus

This is where I live right know, specifically located in the city area - but please decrease your expectations regarding the naming. :-) On the other hand it's always really astonishing how easy you can go out for shopping around the day even on Saturdays (opening times really differ from that what's known from United States for example). So you don't have to worry if you encounter a nearly empty fridge around 8 PM.

Erkrath is located optimal for projects and visits to customers that I realize within the Rheinland or Ruhrgebiet area or outside - for example two major long-distance highways and also (at least) two airports around. I remember home bases that didn't work that way!

Area

A nature reservation called Neandertal (including the associated museum) is nearby.
